Monitor size

The size of a monitor is determined by its diagonal, which is measured in inches ("). The size of the monitor affects how much work space you have available and how detailed the image is. The larger the monitor, the more information it can fit on it and the better it is for working or playing computer games. On the other hand, a larger monitor also takes up more space on the desk and requires a greater distance from the eyes. The common size of a monitor for office work or home use is 24 to 27". For more demanding users or for special purposes, larger or wider monitors are also offered, which can have a diagonal of up to 34".
