Defective pixel
(Death Pixel). The production of LCD (TFT) displays is very demanding, and it is not always possible to achieve absolute perfection, i.e. to produce an LCD display that does not have a single defective pixel. Televisions are manufactured according to the ISO standard, which specifies the number of permissible defective pixels (each pixel has 3 RGB subpixels).
