A pixel is the smallest building block of bitmap graphics (television displays) and has a specific color. All LCD screens have a native resolution, which corresponds to the number of pixels on the screen. Each pixel is made up of three subpixels (red, blue, and green), which make up its resulting color. These subpixels are so small that the human eye cannot distinguish them from each other, and the resulting color is created by simply adding these three pixels together.
