Contrast
It is the brightness ratio of the displayed white and black colors in the monitor mode. The higher the contrast value, the better the presentation in films, etc. We also distinguish between static and dynamic contrast. Static is around 1000:1 and dynamic up to 5000:1. Dynamic contrast works by dimming the backlight tube (panel backlight) when displaying a dark scene and, conversely, lighting up to maximum when displaying, for example, a sunny landscape. Manufacturers often do not distinguish between dynamic and static contrast, if you see a contrast of 5000:1, it is definitely dynamic.
