Response

(Respondent Time). It indicates the time of inertia of the points when redrawing the image in milliseconds. The response has two parts rise/fall, usually the sum of these values is stated. The latest generation LCD monitors have a response of around 2 ms. Therefore, pay attention to this parameter, the smaller this parameter, the better the dynamics of the displayed object. It follows that if you want to occasionally watch sports and action movies on the monitor and play action computer games, you must choose a model with the shortest possible response time, this will avoid unpleasant "blurring" or even "losing" of fast-moving objects in the image. Sometimes you may encounter the stated response GTG (G2G, Grey To Grey, grey-grey). The typical response time of an LCD panel (black to white - referred to as black-black) informs about the speed with which a pixel is able to change its color from the off state to maximum white. However, for most applications, the speed with which a pixel can change from/to individual shades of grey is more decisive. The response time is therefore given as GTG (grey to grey). Even with a very fast response from white to black, the GTG speed is always higher.
